A whole day is dedicated the stunning and unique island of Santorini. Captivating views are not to be missed as your ship approaches this world famous volcanic island. Choose from a variety of excursions- including an island tour featuring Ancient Akrotiri, one of the best preserved ancient cities, thanks to the volcanic ash that once lay thickly upon it. Perhaps enjoy a cable car ride to the top of the island to enjoy the spectacular caldera views and picture post card images of the blue domed churches and white washed cubic houses built into the cliff side.

Izmir (Turkey)
In the afternoon the ship will dock at the bustling Turkish port of Izmir. A must is the excursion to Ancient Ephesus to see the amazing ruins of this ancient Greek city. Alternatively you may prefer to walk around the colourful town and try your luck at bargaining with the local shopkeepers in the bazaar.

Nafplion
Explore Nafplio, this picturesque seaside town, famous for its Venetian Castle located in the bay, beautiful buildings and sophisticated atmosphere. Another very interesting option is to take part in the optional excursion to Epidaurus. The ancient site of Epidaurus, with ruins of temples devoted to the healing gods and of course the theater. For most travelers Epidaurus is known for the magnificent theater that still stands there – and is still used for plays and other performances.
